Real Madrid will appeal to the Administrative Tribunal for Sport (TAD) regarding its expulsion from the Copa del Rey for fielding the ineligible Denis Cheryshev. Madrid saw an initial appeal against being disqualified from the tournament turned down by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on Thursday, Cheryshev having started and scored in the 3-1 victory over Cadiz in the first leg of the round-of-32 tie despite being banned.
