World Cup: Brazil vs Germany Match Review

A 7-1 stunner. Germany knocked Brazil out of the World Cup in spectacular (and unbelievable) fashion

There is a famous move in professional wrestling that's called "The Stone Cold Stunner". Stone Cold Steve Austin would kick you, then bring your head to his shoulder in less than two seconds. You never see it coming. And you don't know what to feel after that happens.

Yes, that is a silly comparison. But it's the only one I can't think of right now after what just transpired in the World Cup Semi-Final between Brazil and Germany on Tuesday.

The Germans entered the match as the favorites. They were the better team, and Brazil didn't have their best player, Barcelona's Neymar. And Germany beat Brazil. BY SEVEN GOALS TO ONE. Yes. 7-1. A stunner, unbelievable performance. By both teams.

It started in the 10th minute, when Thomas Müller scored after a corner kick. Germany started then controlling the match, with huge ball possession and created lots of opportunities. And converted all of them. In an UNBELIEVABLE six-minute stretch, Germany scored four times. Klose, Kroos (twice) and Khedira put the visitors up 5-0. Not only the game was over. Brazil was humiliated.

And the ass-kicking didn't stop there. Schürrle came from the bench and scored his own brace. Oscar put Brazil on the board, but the goal didn't make any difference. The massacre was done.

The worst Brazil defeat in a 100 years. The second biggest Germany win in WC history. The worst loss by a host country. Ever.

Germany reaches their eighth final in history. They'll wait for Argentina or Netherlands.

That's all I can say right now. Sorry.
