FC Barcelona News: 17 July 2014; Adriano Sidelined for 4 to 6 Weeks, Rafinha Undergoes Treatment on Bruised Toe


Training session with 8 first team players and 15 Barça B players | FC Barcelona

Barça returned to training this Wednesday afternoon after this morning’s session at the Ciutat Esportiva. The team trained under the watchful eye of Luis Enrique with 8 first team player and 15 Barça B players. Just as in this morning’s session, Ter Stegen, Masip, Montoya, Bartra, Sergi Roberto, Deulofeu, Afellay and Bojan were present.

The first team players were Ter Stegen, Masip, Montoya, Bartra, Sergi Roberto, Deulofeu, Afellay and Bojan, while Adriano once again remained in the gym. Tello was excused for a trip to Porto, where he is negotiating his future, while Rafinha, with a bruised toe, was also absent.


Adriano Correia, out for 4 to 6 weeks | FC Barcelona

According to the Club’s Medical Services, Adriano Correia has undergone an electrophysiological study in order to treat the abnormal heart rhythm discovered during his medical on Monday. He will be sidelined for four to six weeks. The player will undergo physical training during this time.

Rafinha Alcántara has bruising on his left big toe and will require special treatment over the next few days. As announced by the Medical Services, his presence at training this week depends on how things develop.
