A chance to predict the score of Barcelona's first preseason friendly against Segunda Division Recreativo de Huelva
Another season, another edition of Barca Blaugranes Predict the Score series, a competition in which you, the Barca Blaugranes community compete to correctly predict as many FC Barcelona results as possible. It's a simple premise, yet difficult; the rules are similarly straightforward: one prediction per game per member, one point per correct prediction and no predictions after kick-off. At the end of the season we will tally up the points, and the winner will this season receive a Barca-related prize.
Any suggestions for the eventual prize can be left in the comments below; to recap the standard format for a prediction is "Barcelona score-other team score", so irrespective of whether the Blaugrana are home or away, a 2-0 prediction will always be considered as a 2-0 Barcelona win. Got it?
Preseason fixtures will not count towards the competition proper, but take this as an opportunity to dust off your crystal ball and get back into the routine. Barcelona will be without a whole host of first team players for tonight's match but are expected to be too strong for second tier Recreativo de Huelva at the Nuevo Colombino.
From Alen Halilovic to Marc-Andre ter Stegen, this is a chance to see some of Barcelona's summer signings making their debuts for the club, while it also represents a rare opportunity to see some of the B team under the guidance of new head coach, Luis Enrique. So while there may be no Lionel Messi, Neymar or Andres Iniesta, tonight's match still promises excitement.
To predict the score of tonight's friendly, simply leave your prediction as a comment below. Best of luck!
