FC Barcelona's squad is finally shaping up. Unless the Blaugrana signs Juan Cuadrado, which now looks a bit unlikely, the team's transfer efforts have finished, and seven new additions to the squad have been made.
Here's a quick look at Barça's depth chart for next season.
Goalkeepers: Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo, Jordi Masip
Defenders: Dani Alves, Martín Montoya, Gerard Piqué, Marc Bartra, Jeremy Mathieu, Jordí Alba, Adriano Correia
Midfielders: Javier Mascherano, Sergio Busquets, Alexandre Song, Xavi Hernández, Ivan Rakitic, Sergi Roberto, Andrés Iniesta, Rafinha Alcântara
Forwards: Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Neymar Jr., Pedro Rodríguez, Gerard Deulofeu, Ibrahim Afellay
That's a 24-men roster. It's worh noting that Barça B players like Halilovic, Adama Traoré and Dongou might get some playing time, since new club manager Luis Enrique said that developing youngsters is a priority for his coaching tenure at Barça.
Possible Starting XI (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Alves, Piqué, Mathieu, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Suárez, Messi, Neymar
Possible XI (Reserves): Bravo; Montoya, Bartra, Mascherano, Adriano; Song, Xavi, Rafinha; Afellay, Pedro, Deulofeu
Until November, when both Neymar and Suárez will be cleared to compete, Deulofeu and Pedro will probably play alongside Messi.
What do you think, Blaugranes? Is this a deep enough squad to compete for championships or does it need more improvement?
