But the midfielder says he will see out his current deal
Andrés Iniesta has once again spoken out about his future and says that while he intends to see out his current deal it is possible he may not finish his career at Barcelona.
The midfielder’s contract expires next summer and he is yet to renew his current contract which has inevitably led to speculation over his future.
The 33-year-old has reportedly already been offered mega-deals by Chinese Super League clubs but does expect to stay at Camp Nou for at least one more season.
"There's always a possibility [I don't end my career at Barca]," he told RAC1.
"It's a question of assessing everything. I'm not saying I am going to renew or not.
"I've reached this situation conditioned by how the season has gone, how things have moved and I've learned to value things.
"I said a few weeks ago that the moment I have to leave, it won't end up in a confrontation between Iniesta and the club. We will always look for the best for everyone.
"My intention is, at least, to finish the contract that I have and that's what I want to do."
Juventus have been the latest club linked with Iniesta with reports in Italy claiming the Italian champions could swoop for the midfielder if he does not extend.
Whether we like it or not Iniesta is slowly coming to the end of his glittering career and while we’d love him to retire at Camp Nou, and he still might, at least we will still have the privilege of watching him at Barca for one more season.
