The Spanish champions are well represented
FIFA have named the 55 players in contention to make it into their FIFPro Men’s World XI of 2019 which will be announced at the Best Fifa Football Awards in Milan on 23 September.
The World XI is voted for by 23,000 professional players from around the globe. The players were asked to vote for their best team based on performances from July 2018 to July 2019.
The final XI will consist of one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfield players and three forwards.
Barcelona have the most players nominated with 11 of their stars in contention, followed by Real Madrid with nine, Manchester City with eight and Liverpool with seven.
