The Frenchman is close to a return from injury
Ousmane Dembele could be fit in time for Saturday’s La Liga clash with Granada after recovering from a hamstring strain.
The France international has started to train with his team-mates again. He was involved in the session on Sunday and took part again on Thursday.
Mundo Deportivo reckon that Dembele will be “ready to play” on Saturday night, while Sport also seem optimistic he will be ready in time.
Dembele’s return will be a further boost to manager Ernesto Valverde as the team look to pick up their first away win of the season against Granada at Los Carmenes.
Lionel Messi should also make his first La Liga appearance of the season on Saturday after returning from injury as a substitute against Dortmund on Tuesday.
Valverde may opt to rotate his team slightly, with Villarreal up next on Tuesday. Junior Firpo is expected to come in for the injured left-back Jordi Alba, Jean-Clair Todibo could also feature in defence and there are likely to be changes in midfield too.
The return of Dembele and Messi also gives Valverde decisions to make up front with Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez also fit and youngsters Carles Perez and Ansu Fati having impressed in the early weeks.
