The captain is a doubt for the tie at the Camp Nou
Barcelona were given a boost on Monday as both Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele joined in first-team training ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Inter Milan.
Both players missed the trip to Getafe on Saturday due to injury and are considered doubts for the Champions League tie at the Camp Nou.

Messi has been sidelined with a thigh strain picked up against Villarreal, but reports have claimed there is optimism he could be fit to take on Antonio Conte’s side.
Sport report that Messi is recovering well from his injury and could make the squad. He may not start the game but could be fit enough to start on the bench.
Yet they also claim Barcelona will not take any risks with their captain. The club are due to train again on Tuesday, and a decision will be made on Messi after the session.
Mundo Deportivo also bring an update on Messi. They say he’s in with a chance of playing and wants to feature against Inter. The Argentina has never scored against the Nerazzurri, sat out both games against them last season and does not want to miss out again.
Meanwhile, Dembele was ruled out of the game against Getafe before kick-off and later diagnosed with a hamstring strain. Ernesto Valverde said after the win he did not think it was a serious problem but was not sure if he’d be able to face Inter.
