The striker has a great record at Los Carmenes
Luis Suarez suffered a miserable night against Borussia Dortmund last time out but can be forgiven for looking forward to Saturday’s trip to Granada.
The Uruguayan came in for criticism after another poor display away from home in Europe that means he still has not scored on his travels in the Champions League in 19 games, a run stretching over four years.
It’s a quick ridiculous statistic for a player who has scored 179 goals in 250 appearances for Barcelona and has banged in at least 25 goals in each of his five seasons at the Camp Nou.
However, if there is one away ground he loves in La Liga, it’s Los Carmenes. Suarez has featured at the ground three times as a Barcelona player, has scored on each visit and has five in total.
He will also have fond memories of his hat-trick at the ground in 2016. The 3-0 win over Granada gave Barcelona the title on a final-day decider, as they pipped Real Madrid to top spot by a point.

Ernesto Valverde will be hoping Suarez can reproduce that form and help Barcelona pick up their first away win of the season after losing to Athletic and drawing at Osasuna.
Suarez looked sharp coming off the bench to grab a brace against Valencia last time out, but it was a completely different story at the Westfalenstadion.
Despite his poor showing last time out it seems unlikely Valverde will drop Suarez for the trip to Granada, as he has been pretty bulletproof under the Barca boss.
However, the same could have been said of Ivan Rakitic, who has yet to start this season, while there’s plenty of competition up front with Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele both expected to be fit and available.
