Report: Paris Saint-Germain wants Xavi Hernández on one-year loan

The Xavi Era is ending at Barcelona, but he's still a very desired man in the market. The legendary midfielder and Blaugrana captain has been rumored with departures to all big teams on the planet, and now one more giant moneymaker gets in the race.

According to reports from Spain and France, Paris Saint-Germain will try to get the player on a one-year loan after he signs a contract with Qatar team Al Sadd. Al Sadd's owner is the brother of PSG's owner, and they are trying to work out a deal similar to the one Frank Lampard had with Manchester City this season, where the English legend signed with MLS club New York City FC, but went back to the Premier League to the club that owns NYCFC.

Xavi has already said he won't sign with any club in Europe to avoid coming back to Camp Nou and facing his lifelong institution with another team. We all know how loyal the guy is, and he clearly wants to end his career making lots of money, getting ready to come back to Barça as an official and just chilling in a league played six months a year. After such a great and historic career, he doesn't need the pressure of another Champions League run. And, since Barça and PSG basically face each other every season, the chances of facing the Blaugrana are pretty high if he joins the French.

Let's see how this develops. But you shouldn't really believe this.
