Luis Enrique and players react to Barcelona winning La Liga title against Atlético Madrid

Barcelona are 2014/15 La Liga champions! The Blaugrana went to Vicente Calderón, and without Luis Suárez defeated Atlético Madrid 1-0 on Sunday to earn the Spanish League crown one Jornada earlier.

After the game, coach Luis Enrique and Barça players reacted to the title victory, and they'll now enjoy two days of rest to celebrate the championship. Here's a few highlights:

Luis Enrique

"I began this era 10 months ago, with many changes and after one year without a title... We have tried to do the best we possibly can and now we are just missing two titles.

"To win a league is the result of months of work. I've liked how we have played today at a ground which is practically impossible [to win at]. The team deserved their victory.

"Now everyone who has formed part of the club this season, above all the fans, can enjoy [the league title]."

"I prefer calmer celebrations. We will rest for a few days and then begin training again on Wednesday, with the Copa del Rey final the next aim, which is a really attractive challenge.

"We have three games left, two finals. We will have to see what is best to win the other two trophies."

"There is no way that someone who trains a big club will not receive criticism. If you under-perform, you're executed.

"I knew that and it's something that I understand. It's logical. Until the season finishes, I will not speak about [my future]."

Jordi Alba

“They gave us up for dead [in January], but we have had a magnificent season.

"I am delighted. The atmosphere is the best I remember in my career. Now this is a day to enjoy and to know that we have given a lot. I’m so happy — I can’t ask for any more."

“Hopefully this is the beginning. It’s a day to enjoy. We don’t know what will happen in the Copa del Rey or the Champions League.”

Sergio Busquets

"Now we can celebrate [the title] because it is the most difficult tournament [to win].

"It is the most important [title]. It is all year long, playing against everyone home and away. The Champions League is the most prestigious, but this is the most important."

"Last year cost us a lot. We did not hit the heights required to be champions. This year we have done better.

"You can't win everything every year, but that doesn't mean [when you don't win] the end of a cycle. We are a young team. Many still remain from Pep [Guardiola's] time and this is a historic era."
