Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic took to social media to respond to his “interest” in Barcelona. All of this was linked to Pjanic liking a photo on Instagram that held the caption: “Barça want to strengthen their midfield with world class footballer Pnanic (Juventus)”.
Innocent enough, but in the social media age we read into everything because it’s fun, who can really blame us? So as a result Pjanic took to his own Instagram to respond.
“Mamma mia, just for one like on a photograph,”
“At least read what was written – fake news.”

Pjanic is one of the few players that Barcelona have been linked with over the summer. They’re looking for some additional help in the midfield, which needs strengthening after Andres Iniesta’s departure.
