In one of their last games before the Copa América, Brazil showed strength and resilience, as the Seleção came from behind to beat France 3-1 in an exciting friendly played at Stade de France in Paris on Thursday.
The only Barcelona representative was Neymar, and he once again shined. The captain and star of the team came through big and scored one of the three goals. It wasn't just the Neymar Show, though; Roberto Firmino and Willian played nice matches even without scoring. Oscar and Luiz Gustavo joined Neymar in the scoreboard, and Raphael Varane was the only man who found the net for France.
It was a mini-Clásico that featured Neymar vs Benzema and Varane. All three stars had strong performances, and the crowd was excited with a good showing by both teams. France lost for the first time since the 1-0 defeat against World Cup champions Germany in Brazil, and they shouldn't be that worried with a friendly loss. They're still pretty good.
Brazil has a lot to take from this win, however. Dunga's pack was slow and unreliable on defense at times, but for the most part, especially in the second half, the Seleção played a very good game. The team fought hard and kept coming back for more. Although all three goals were sort of fortuitous, happening in part because of France's mistakes, the Yellow and Green showed composure and never gave up.
And, as always, Neymar happened.
