Patrick O'Connell deserves a special mention in any Barça history. The former Ireland captain managed Barça in the 1935/36 season, guiding the team into the cup final. The outbreak of the Civil War meant there was no national league the following year, but O’Connell insisted on keeping the team active and took them on a fund-raising tour of North America. Diego Simeone should consider his Atletico Madrid future - ESPN FC

He hasn't phoned me yet, but when he does I'll tell him: "Diego -- it's the right time to start thinking about moving on from Atletico Madrid." Back in the real world I sincerely hope that Atlético's attempts to renew his contract, which still has another season to run, succeed.
