Lionel Messi has reportedly told Barcelona he wants to leave the club this summer, and the reactions are coming in quickly — and from some big names.
Barcelona legend Carles Puyol took to Twitter and said “Respect and admiration, Leo. All my support, friend”.

To which Luis Suárez, Messi’s current teammate and close friend, replied with a simple but powerful message:

Luis Suárez has reportedly been told by new Barça manager Ronald Koeman he is no longer part of the club’s plans for next season, and speculation has it that it was that phone call that pushed Messi over the edge and made him decide to leave.
