Sunday brings more transfer rumors

Sunday’s front pages bring a fresh batch of rumors regarding Ronald Koeman’s transfer plans for Barcelona this summer.

Sport are reporting that the Dutchman has three top targets and has a front page of Eric Garcia, Lautaro Martinez and Valencia defender Jose Gaya,

Barcelona are working to bring in all three players before the transfer window closes in October but know they must first sell players to be able to afford the trio.

Lautaro remains Barca’s top target and they are now hoping he can be brought in for €65 milion plus one (or two) of Junior Firpo, Nelson Semedo, Emerson or Jordi Alba.

Barca are also hopeful of bringing Garcia back from Manchester City but know a move for Gaya will be tough. He is a key player for Valencia and has a buyout clause set at €50m.

Over at Mundo Deportivo the top story is all about Koeman’s plans for Lautaro and Philippe Coutinho.

Koeman wants to create a new attack at the Camp Nou for next season and Lautaro is crucial to his plans. Barca are ready to reignite their interest now Inter’s season is over.

The new Barca coach is also planning to get on the phone to Coutinho after tonight’s Champions League final to find out what the Brazilian is thinking. The Dutchman wants to give Coutinho a second chance at Barca but needs to know the midfielder’s intentions.
