Ajax left-back Nicolás Tagliafico is reportedly back on Barcelona’s radar as the club look to strengthen their defense ahead of next season.
Mundo Deportivo and Marca are both reporting interest from Barcelona in the 27-year-old with doubts over the futures of Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo.
Tagliafico is expected to cost around €25 million but Barca would have to offload either Alba or Junior before securing the Argentine.
Premier League clubs are also said to be interested in Tagliafico who it seems has decided it’s time for a change of scenery after three years at Ajax.
Yet Barca may have an upper hand if any potential negotiations. Marca report Tagliafico has an agreement with Ajax that they won’t stand in his way if Barca come calling.
