Chelsea contact Samuel Umtiti’s agent
Today’s rumor round-up starts with Samuel Umtiti and claims that Chelsea have been in touch with the defender’s agent over a possible summer move.
Journalist Nicolo Schira has reported Barcelona are willing to sell the French centre-back but want at least €50 million.
Arsenal were interested in his services last summer and it seems like Chelsea are the latest club to express an interest.
Real Betis want Alena for another season
Over at Mundo Deportivo the word is that Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena could stay at Real Betis for another season.
Alena went to Betis in an attempt to secure regular football but is still not a guaranteed starter for Los Verdiblancos.
Rubi is said to be keen for him to continue for another season at the Benito Villamarín Stadium, while Quique Setien would also quite like to have him back.
Pedri wanted by Betis
Alena could be joined at Real Betis by Pedri who is due to join Barcelona in the summer from Las Palmas but could head out on loan.
Sport report that La Liga clubs Real Betis, Celta and Real Sociedad are all interested in the youngster as well as Ajax.
However, Betis feel they have a good chance of landing Pedri, as they have enjoyed some good dealings with Barca in recent transfer windows.
