The Brazilian thinks the PSG star is the world’s best player
Brazilian footballer Cafu had some interesting words regarding Lionel Messi and Neymar. The legendary defender, who led Brazil to World Cup wins in 1994 and 2002, discussed the technical ability of the former Barcelona teammates.
“Technically, Neymar is the best player in the world,” he said.
“Today, technically, nobody can beat Neymar. Not even Messi, although I am a fan of him. But he does not surpass him in terms of technical quality.”

Cafu is certainly a bit biased in this conversation. A Brazilian Neymar would of course likely be his preference. However, recent players, Pele, and others have seen a bit more discussion about Messi not being at the top of his class anymore.
