The defender has not given up hope yet
It’s safe to say the weekend didn’t go as planned for Barcelona and their fans. A loss fresh off the international break to Luis Suarezless Atletico Madrid didn’t do much to comfort the fears of Barcelona fans.
Confidence might not be something that’s oozing out of Barca fans. However, Clement Lenglet seemed to express a bit of confidence on behalf of the squad. Misplaced or not, he at least sounded convinced that he believed Barca could still win La Liga. Which, of course, they could. It’s still early and despite looking like rubbish, crazier things have happened.
“Yes, LaLiga [Santander] can still be won. There are a lot of games and points still at stake. If we drop our heads now, it wouldn’t be professional and it would be disrespectful. We have to turn things around.”

Barca’s next La Liga game is on Sunday at home to Osasuna but before then Lenglet and Co. take on Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League.
