The president is backing the new boss
Josep Maria Bartomeu seems very confident that Barcelona will see positive change under the leadership of Quique Setien. The newly-crowned Barcelona boss enjoyed wins in his first two matches as manager before losing to Valencia most recently.
“He’s a coach that we like, as much his style of play as his way of thinking,” he said.
”We know that it’s never easy when a coach comes in. There have been few matches and few training sessions but we’re going to see positive changes before long.”

It’s nice to see Bartomeu back his manager a few matches into his tenure. Let’s hope he continues to back Setien if he believes in him for some time. The last thing Barcelona need this year is any uncertainty at the managerial level.
