The youngster will join in the summer
Barcelona confirmed on Thursday they have signed Francisco Trincão from Braga. The 20-year-old will join in the summer for a fee of €31 million on a five-year deal.
The forward is a highly-rated young talent who has three goals and six assists for Braga in his 21 appearances for the club this season.
He came come through the ranks at Braga, making his debut in 2018 and going on to establish himself in the team.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and SC Braga have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Francisco Trincão who will join the club on 1 July 2020.
“The transfer fee is 31 million euros and the player will sign a contract with the Club for the next five seasons, until the end of the 2014/25 campaign with a buy-out clause of 500 million euros.”

Trincão is a left-footer but can play on either flank and was also part of Portugal’s Under-19 side who won the European Champions in 2018, finishing as the joint top goalscorer with five goals and the mosts assists too.
