Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona have twice tried to sign Inter defender Stefan de Vrij over the last couple of seasons. The defender turned down a move when leaving Lazio because he though he’d play more at Inter, while Antonio Conte blocked a move in June.

Clement Lenglet says new team-mate Antoine Griezmann will settle at Barcelona which is much different to Atletico. He told RAC1: “Griezmann will adapt to Barca, because of his talent and his personal quality. It’s a totally different game to Atletico. There are fewer spaces to run into when attacking, and you have to adapt to a new life, a new home, many things which you are not accustomed to, because he has not been at many clubs.”
