The Barcelona star could miss El Clasico
Ousmane Dembele was sent off for Barcelona against Sevilla on Sunday night for calling referee Mateu Lahoz “very bad.”
The winger was given his marching orders late on for dissent after centre-back Ronald Araujo had been shown a red card for a foul on Javier Hernandez.
It looked a harsh call by the referee and certainly angered Dembele who approached the match official. The ref has now confirmed what happened between the pair.
Referee Lahoz confirms in his report that he sent Dembele off for telling him he's "very bad" while gesticulating with his arms. Could now miss Clasico.

Ernesto Valverde seemed pretty bemused by the whole thing afterwards. He explained that it’s difficult enough to get much out of Dembele in Spanish.
Valverde on what Dembele said to ref: “it’s a mystery. It’s hard to get a phrase out of him in Spanish. It won’t have been a long phrase, for sure.”

Yet the sending off means Dembele will miss Barcelona’s next game against Eibar and could face an extended ban that would rule him out of El Clasico too.
