Big clubs have been in touch apparently
Lille president Gerard Lopez has confirmed that Barcelona are one of several clubs interested in 23-year-old winger Nicolas Pepe.
Reports earlier this week claimed Barcelona were keen on the Ivorian who has enjoyed a brilliant start to the season with four goals and three assists in five games.
Lopez has asked directly about interest from Barcelona, and his response is pretty interesting.
“It’s true. There are some great clubs that are interested in him. The clubs contacted us directly after the summer market to find out the way forward. I hope he stays at least one more season.”

Barcelona are not the only club seemingly interested in Pepe. Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with the youngster.
