Malcom has revealed his delight at being called up by Brazil for the first time in his career. He said: “For any Brazilian player it’s a dream to play for the national team, to represent your country is an honour. I’m very happy, I didn’t expect it now but it’s very gratifying and I hope to be able to give a lot of joy to the Brazilian fans. I also want to thank my family and all those who have supported me, and to Barça for opening the doors.”
