Rumors: Neymar, Vidal, Dani Alves and Dani Olmo latest

The gossip just keeps on coming

Neymar tells Barcelona players ‘Relax, I will come’

There’s only one place for today’s rumors to start and that’s with Neymar who has apparently sent his old Barcelona mates a WhatsApp message saying he’s on his way back.

According to Sport, the Brazilian has been busy talking to his former colleagues and told them “Relax, I’ll come” in response to speculation he is set to return to the Camp Nou.

Apparently Neymar is “convinced” negotiations between Barcelona and PSG will progress and that he will be back in La Liga for the start of next season.

Vidal will turn down China offers

Sport also have news about Arturo Vidal’s future. The Chile midfielder has attracted interest from clubs in China but is ready to turn them all down to stay at Barca.

Vidal is confident that he has the backing of manager Ernesto Valverde and will not leave unless a “gigantic offer” arrives which is too good to refuse.

The Chilean also has offers from clubs in Europe but has told agent, Fernando Felicevich, he does not want to hear any more offers.

Barcelona don’t really want Dani Alves back

Meanwhile, Dani Alves keeps being linked with a move to Barcelona after announcing his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, but the Spanish champions aren’t too keen on bringing the defender back.

According to RAC1, Barcelona “aren’t even considering bringing” Alves back to the club even though the 36-year-old has offered to return.

The club already have Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo at right-back and wouldn’t even contemplate signing Alves even if Semedo departed.

But they are keen on Dani Olmo

While Barcelona may not want Dani Alves back they are tempted to see if Dani Olmo might fancy another spell at the Camp Nou.

Marca reckon the Catalan giants have “expressed an interest” in Olmo after some impressive performances for Spain at the Under-21 European Championships.

Bayer Leverkusen have already made a bid of €25 million for Olmo, but the report reckons Barcelona’s interest “has changed the picture entirely.”
