Rumors: Coutinho open to PSG move, Liverpool want Brazilian back

It’s a Philippe Coutinho gossip special!

Coutinho would agree to PSG move

Today’s rumour round-up is all about one player, the one and only Philippe Coutinho.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian would agree to a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, although he also has offers from Chelsea and Manchester United.

The return of Leonardo as the club’s sporting director and players such as Dani Alves and Marquinhos means there are plenty of Brazilian influences at the club.

There is speculation that Barcelona are willing to offer cash plus Coutinho for Neymar, and while the French champions may not be his first choice they offer a realistic solution.

Coutinho does not want to go to Manchester United due to his Liverpool past, while Chelsea are currently banned from signing players for the next two transfer window.

The Brazilian has already admitted he does not know if he will stay at Barcelona next season, and PSG may be the best option for him to revive a flagging career.

Liverpool want Coutinho back?

Meanwhile, over in France there is news that Liverpool could be tempted to bring Coutinho back to Anfield.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Reds have been thinking wistfully about their former player and fancy helping him end his Barcelona nightmare.

Well, maybe not quite that, but the report does reckon that the Champions League winners have not forgotten about Coutinho and are open to a possible return.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has said recently “everybody’s splashing the cash, so we have to do the same,” but could the Reds really re-sign Coutinho?
