The defender has been sidelined with knee trouble
Samuel Umtiti has offered an update on his current situation and has admitted he still does not know when he will return to action for Barcelona.
The defender has not featured since the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in November and spent some weeks in Qatar before Christmas undergoing some “conservative treatment.”
He has since returned but is yet to feature for the first team and it’s not clear when he will be fit to play again.
“I feel good and I’m focused on my recovery but I hope to return soon, although only God knows when that will happen,” he revealed.

There have been reports that Umtiti is focussed on making his return in the Champions League last 16 against his former club Lyon.
Barcelona play the first leg in Lyon on February 19, with the return set for the Camp Nou three weeks later.
