Andrés Iniesta has spoken about Wednesday's fixture game against Manchester City at the Camp Nou at 20.45 CET. The fixture is the third round of the Champions League group stage and Iniesta believes it will be a tough game: "Man City are a great team with some excellent players and they have strengthened well over the summer." However, Barça's captain is optimistic saying, "we will come into the match with lots of enthusiasm and will try and win so we can remain in a strong position in the group."

Javier Mascherano put pen to paper on his improved contract extension with FC Barcelona, a deal that will keep him at the Club until 30 June 2019. The signing was carried out in the presence of President Josep Maria Bartomeu, Sporting Vice President Jordi Mestre and Technical Secretary Robert Fernández.
Denis Suarez set to trigger transfer clause against Man City reports - ESPN FC
If Denis Suarez features against former side Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday then Barcelona will have to pay the Premier League club an additional €800,000 for the midfielder, according to reports. Despite Suarez leaving Barca for Villarreal on a permanent basis in 2015, following a loan spell with Sevilla, the original terms of the 2013 deal which took him to Camp Nou still stand.
Neymar will sign his extension with FC Barcelona this Friday | FC Barcelona
Neymar will make his contract extension official on Friday 21, October at 3.00pm CET at the Club offices. As the Club has already announced, the striker's contract extension with FC Barcelona will tie him to the blaugranes until 30 June 2021.
Mascherano: Manchester City have upped their game | FC Barcelona
Wednesday night will see Pep Guardiola return to the Camp Nou for the second time as a coach. Mascherano highlighted his admiration for his former manager: "Guardiola has had a massive impact on my life. Firstly, because he brought me to this club, and secondly, because he taught me so much during the two years we were together." Mascherano added that he believes Guardiola is so influential because of his "impressive reading of the game."

The board of directors has been informed of the organisation of the Assembly of Delegate Members, which will happen on the 29 October at the Palau Blaugrana.
