The work to replace the pitch at Camp Nou has begun this Wednesday following the concert by Bruce Springsteen which took place at the stadium last Saturday. The change of surface will be ready for the French League rugby final which is set to take place at Barça’s ground on 24 June.

The tremors lasted three days and at one point registered 7.3 on the Richter scale, leaving 41 dead and thousands injured.
