Let's play Lucho, now that we all love him again!
Relief: that's the word that can describe the feelings of any Barcelona fan and/or player and/or coach. Two league losses in a row put a lot of pressure on the team, but they responded in great fashion: a hard-fought, solid 2-0 win over Ajax in Amsterdam to officially qualify for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League. Not only that, Barça performed pretty well, especially in the second half, and left good perspectives for the final two months of 2014.
Up next, a trip to Andaluzía for a tough road game against Almería. Despite the record (only nine points in 10 matches), they are not an easy feat. It's always difficult to play on the road, but Barça have a good chance of winning, mainly because they are back on track after the game in Holland.
This is the last match before another international break, so don't expect coach Luis Enrique to rotate the squad that much. He needs to find the right lineup and give Luis Suárez more minutes with the ideal starting group, therefore we might see the best XI possible for the Almería game.
