The two are included in the preliminary list of 15 midfielders, which also features ex-Barça players Cesc Fàbregas –now at Chelsea- and Touré Yaya –Manchester City, alongside Xabi Alonso (FC Bayern Munich), Di Maria (Manchester United), Eden Hazard ( Chelsea FC), Kroos (Real Madrid), Modric (Real Madrid CF), Özil (Arsenal FC), Pirlo ( Juventus), Pogba ( Juventus), James Rodríguez (Real Madrid), Schweinsteiger (FC Bayern Munich) and Arturo Vidal (Juventus).


Vermaelen to undergo surgery in Finland next week | FC Barcelona

First team footballer Thomas Vermaelen will undergo surgery on his right semitendinosus muscle by doctor Sakari Orava next Tuesday in Finland. The estimated recovery time is 4 to 6 months. The 29 year old Belgian defender joined Barça from Arsenal last summer.

The original design will continue to be used in Europe. In September, Real signed a deal with the bank at the Bernabéu stadium, with president Florentino Pérez hailing the deal as a "strategic alliance with one of the most prestigious institutions in the world".
