After completing a double session on Monday, Ernesto Valverde had his players back at it again in training on Tuesday morning, ensuring their sharpness before heading off to the United States later in the day.

Ernesto Valverde has announced who he is taking with him on the US Tour. Fifteen members of the first team will be crossing the Atlantic, including the two new signings, Arthur and Lenglet. They will be joined by 13 players from Barça B, namely Jokin Ezkieta, Palencia, Cucurella, Mingueza, J. Cuenca, Miranda, Monchu, Collado, Riqui Puig, Abel Ruiz, C. Pérez, Chumi and Ballou.

Agreement with Sivasspor for loan of Douglas | FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona and Turkish Süper Lig club Sivasspor have reached an agreement for the loan of Douglas to the latter for the 2018/19 season. The Brazilian full-back has made eight official appearances for Barça, which have ended in four wins and four draws. He joined the club in 2014 from São Paulo, and made his debut against Málaga in September of that year.

The 23-year-old defender left Sevilla and joined Barca after he paid his €35.9 million release clause with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on July 12 to terminate his contract.

Deportivo La Coruna are close to agreeing a loan deal for Barcelona B goalkeeper Arian Ortola according to Spanish radio station RAC1. The Galician side need a shot-stopper and have targetted the 24 year old who knows the second division well having played 30 games last season.

Xavier O’Callaghan, new Managing Director of the New York office | FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona has appointed Xavier O’Callaghan as the Managing Director of the New York Office, effective immediately. O’Callaghan’s main responsibilities, as the maximum representative of the Club in the Americas, will be to further establish the office and his team there.
