There’s yet another new name in the frame for Lucho’s job
Conte at Camp Nou?
Move over Oscar Garcia because Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is the latest name to be linked with replacing Luis Enrique as Barcelona boss.
Good old Don Balon report the Italian is on the agenda after impressing the world during his time at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea hot favourites to clinch the Premier League title.
While Conte’s style is hardly a fit for Barca, Cesc Fabregas and Pedro have both spoken highly of the Italian coach, particularly his ability to adapt to his players.
Barca keen on Nolito
Nolito wants out of Manchester City after falling way down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola and struggling for game time, claim the Daily Star.
The 30-year-old is concerned he’ll miss out on a place in Spain’s World Cup squad if he stays at City and wants to return to La Liga, with Barca apparently interested.
Klopp laughs off Coutinho talk
Jurgen Klopp has dismissed talk that Philippe Coutinho could be on his way to Barcelona this summer.
Speculation persists that Barca will move for the Brazilian but Klopp is having absolutely none of it.
"Actually, I think it's positive when there is interest," he said. "It shows it's good. I am not concerned because I think Phil fits really well and comfortably here.
"That's wonderful for us. I am not concerned, actually, because we give the boys enough perspective that they really want to be part of this for the next few years."
