The Medical Services revealed today that the Brazilian full-back is still feeling pain after sustaining the injury in training on Sunday and so he will miss the trip to PSG and his availability for training this week will depend on how things develop.

The plane tasking the Barça party to Paris left El Prat Airport at 11.00 AM CET and should arrive less than two hours later. On Tuesday night, Andrés Iniesta returns to Paris, the city where he won his first Champions League winners medal, with the opportunity of making his hundredth appearance in the competition. In the 99 games he’s played in since making his debut against Bruges in the 2002/03 season, Iniesta has scored ten goals and picked up three winners medals.

Mathieu: "You have to be focussed for 90 minutes" | FC Barcelona

For the French defender, Luis Enrique is: "the right coach for Barça. He is very ambitious and is clear about his ideas and how we should play". As to his feelings about playing at the Camp Nou, Mathieu admitted: "you have to be focussed for 90 minutes. You feel more pressure because you are wearing the Barça shirt".

Facts and figures from the Granada game | FC Barcelona

Neymar grabbed his league hat trick with the Club, after bagging three against Celtic in the Champions League last season. The Brazilian is the team’s leading league scorer this season with six goals.

Laurent Blanc and Luis Enrique: 33 games together at FC Barcelona | FC Barcelona

Laurent Blanc and Luis Enrique, the current managers of PSG and Barça, followed very different career paths. The former started out at Montpellier and went on to play in Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga and the Premier League. The latter only ever played in Spain. But they did coincide for one season at the Camp Nou.

Laurent Blanc: an elegant presence at the Camp Nou | FC Barcelona

París Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc spent a season at the Camp Nou, where his skill on the ball, leadership skills and ability in the air left a lasting impression. Blanc joined the Club for the 1996/97 season – curiously enough, at the same time as Luis Enrique – from Auxerre. At 31, he’d spent most of his career in France, with just a season oat Naples at the start of the 90s.

What we learned in La Liga: Varane the man, Sevilla fade & Nuno knows - ESPN FC

The 34-year-old started the game playing to the left of Sergio Busquets, with Ivan Rakitic remaining in his preferred position on the right side of the midfield three. And Rakitic had a much bigger impact in proceedings. The game's opening goal came directly from the Croatia international's pressure on the ball in the Granada half. He then arrived late in the six-yard box to head in Barca's second, something neither Xavi nor Andres Iniesta ever do.

Mallorca-Barça B: A point in the rain (3-3) | FC Barcelona

Barça B took a point from the Iberostar Estadi with a 3-3 draw against Mallorca on a wet and muddy pitch that hardly encouraged the team’s passing game. After going behind to an early Mallorca goal from youngster Kasim, Dongou and Cámara – with his debut goal for the side- turned the result round before the hosts pulled back to 2-2 with a goal from Joao Victor from a corner just before the break.

Valencia held by Real Sociedad | Sky Sports Football

Carles Gil volleyed the visitors in front in the first half against the run of play, but former Valencia player Sergio Canales levelled for La Real in the 37th minute. Both sides could have won it in the second period and Canales came agonisingly close to snatching a last-minute winner, but saw his bouncing shot cleared off the line.

Cordoba 0 Espanyol 0: Still no win for Cordoba | Sky Sports Football

Cordoba remain bottom of the Primera Division and still without a win in their return to the top flight after being held to a goalless draw at home to Espanyol. The hosts showed more ambition to win the game than Sergio Gonzalez's side but only managed four attempts on Kiko Casilla's goal, and on each occasion the goalkeeper was up to the task.

Match report from Deportivo v Almeria | Sky Sports Football

Having lost 8-2 to Real Madrid at the Riazor last weekend and then suffered a 2-1 derby defeat at arch-rivals Celta Vigo in midweek, Depor would have been desperate to pick up something from the visit of seemingly easier opponents. That looked set to be the case with the match apparently headed for goalless draw - only for Almeria to snatch a 1-0 victory through Edgar's strike two minutes into added time.

Match report from Getafe v Malaga | Sky Sports Football

Getafe picked up what could prove to be a vital victory as Michel's goal proved to be enough to beat Malaga 1-0 at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. The Madrid club came into the contest one place off the bottom of the table after a poor start which had seen them collect just three points from five games.
