Brazil national team manager compares Neymar to Romário

ROMÁRIO!!!

He's only 22 years old, playing for his country for just over four years, but he's already part of Brazil's national team history. Neymar Jr. is a monster when playing with the Seleção, and his coach knows that.

In an interview to FOX Sports Brazil, Carlos Dunga, the Brazilian NT boss, talked about how important Neymar is to his team, and went as far as to compare him to another historical Brazil striker:

"Neymar is a technical leader, a reference to the world of football. Despite being so good, he's one of the most competitive guys I've ever met. He likes to compete and win. And he also enjoys being pushed, being challenged, provoked. He rises to the occasion when something like this happens. In many ways, he's like Romário. Romário loved being challenged by his opponents and teammates, and he always played better when pushed to compete, and it is great to have guys that talented and competitive in your team. You trust them."

Wow, Romário. WHOA! If you're a football fan, you should know that Romário is one of the greatest strikers in the history of this sport. He destroyed every defender he's faced, and few players had his ability to score. Ever. He scored a lot for Barcelona, even though he didn't play at Barça long enough to become a legend. Still, he's one of the best of all time.

Good company, Neymar.
