The Barça striker will play in Serie A for a season
It’s official: Barcelona striker Rey Manaj has joined Serie A club Spezia Calcio on a season-long loan deal. Barça will receive €300,000 as a loan fee and Spezia have a €2.7 million buy option.

Manaj scored 14 goals in 22 games for Barça B last season and gained a lot of momentum this summer thanks to a great preseason, scoring four goals in four games and looking like he had a real shot at promotion to the first team to serve as Sergio Agüero’s backup.
But the 24-year-old will instead move to Italy, playing for a team expected to fight against relegation. Italian teams usually exercise their buy options, and given it’s such a small number there is a chance we don’t see Manaj playing for Barça again.
