It seems there’s no shortage of Barcelona legends willing to give Ousmane Dembele advice and Carles Puyol has become the latest to offer some help.
Xavi has already explained what he thinks the youngster needs to do to succeed at the Camp Nou and now Puyol has offered up his opinion.
“I think he is a great player. But he was signed for big money and is under pressure of having cost a lot of money. He has to forget about that and he has to focus exclusively on improving and improving.
“He started at Dortmund, now he is at Barcelona and he has yet to get used to it. He has the qualities, but he must remain calm, learn from his colleagues and concentrate on his performance.”

Dembele became Barcelona’s most expensive signing when he joined from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017 for €105 million plus add-ons.
The price tag has appeared to weigh heavy on his young shoulders at times and obviously his bad luck with injuries hasn’t helped.
However, he’s started to show his real quality in recent weeks and let’s hope he can fulfil his potential and repay the huge faith the club have shown in him.
