Messi wants Bernardo Silva at Barca
Today’s rumors start off with Lionel Messi who wants Barcelona to sign Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva, according to Diario Gol.
Silva only moved to the Etihad Stadium in the summer but is finding game time hard to come by, largely due to the form of Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva.
Jorge Mendes is Silva’s agent and, as he also represents Andre Gomes and Nelson Semedo, a deal could be done, apparently for a price of €80 million.
Barcelona scout Onyekuru
Over at AS, they bring word that Barcelona sent scouts to watch Henry Onyekuru in action.
The striker, on loan at Anderlecht from Everton, is having a great season with seven goals in 10 starts in the Belgian league.
That form has also attracted interest from elsewhere, with Manchester United, Tottenham and Ajax among a list of other clubs keen on the striker.
Bayern wary of Barcelona interest in Kimmich
Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are keen to tie down Joshua Kimmich to a new contract after interest from Barcelona.
According to Sport BILD (via Sport) the German champions want to give him a pay rise and a contract until 2023.
Barcelona had previously been credited with an interest in Kimmich, along with Manchester City.
Six players could leave this winter
And finally we stay with Sport who report that Josep Maria Bartomeu is keen to trim the squad this winter with as many as six players available for sale.
The players named are Arda Turan, Andre Gomes, Aleix Vidal, Denis Suarez, Gerard Deulofeu and Paco Alcacer.
Although they are not specifically up for sale, Barca would consider selling any of them should they receive acceptable offers.
