Good news for all parties.
There’s finally some good news in the injury saga of Barcelona’s latest signing Ousmane Dembélé.
FC Barcelona announced on their official website that the operation on his left leg was successful and he’s expected to be out for three and a half months.
“FC Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembélé was successfully operated on Tuesday to repair a ruptured biceps femoris in his left leg.
“Dr. Sakari Orava performed the surgery. Dembélé remains under the supervision of Dr. Ricard Pruna. He is expected to be out for three and a half months.”
The estimate of three and a half months is shorter than the club’s original statement which suggested he could be out for up to four months.
However, Barcelona will want to be careful with their key signing when he returns to avoid any other problems.
