The striker has been out with a knee problem
Luis Suarez could be set to return to action far quicker than expected with Uruguay team doctor Alberto Pan refusing to rule him out of the World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Paraguay.
The forward picked up the problem in the Supercopa de Espana against Real Madrid and was originally ruled out for four weeks.
However, he has travelled to link up with the national squad and Pan says they will wait to see how he reacts after training.
“I’d never rule out Suárez,” he said
“We still haven’t done the post-training assessment. Based on what we see, we’ll plan tomorrow’s work.
“If he can manage to work with the group and full activity, if he trains normally and with no reaction at all, it’s a big step towards being fully reintegrated and being OK.”
