Barcelona rumors: Coutinho fee agreed plus Gomes, Di Maria and Munir latest

The gossip is hotting up ahead of deadline day

Barca agree €160m fee for Coutinho

We start today with Philippe Coutinho and a report that Barcelona have in fact agreed a fee that could rise up to a rather eye-watering €160 million for the Liverpool star.

According to Duncan Castles at Yahoo Sport UK, the deal has been done and Coutinho has already been told he will be a Barcelona player this week.

However, Liverpool have also asked Barcelona to delay the completion of the deal, in order for them to find a replacement, with Thomas Lemar or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the favourites.

Di Maria pushes for Barcelona move

Meanwhile, another player who definitely wants to move to Camp Nou appears to be Angel Di Maria, who is busy pushing for a transfer, so say Sport.

The Argentine has told Paris Saint-Germain and coach Unai Emery he wants to go, although the Blaugrana are well aware negotiations will be difficult, given the current relationship between the two clubs.

Unai Emery a big fan of Andre Gomes

Of course talks between PSG and Barcelona could be sweetened by the mention of Andre Gomes, if we take a look at Mundo Deportivo.

They report that Emery is a big fan of Gomes and that the midfielder could possibly be used as part of a deal that would bring Di Maria to Camp Nou.

However, the report also mentions a possible loan to Juventus and also claims Gomes could still stay at Barca. In short, anything is possible.

Torino lead Munir chase

Munir El Haddadi is widely expected to seal a move away from Barcelona before the close of the window and he could be off to Serie A with Torino reportedly now in pole position.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Torino have made an offer to take Munir on loan with an option to buy of €16 million.

However, fellow Serie A sides Sampdoria and Roma as well as Malaga and Crystal Palace are also believed to be interested in his services.

Douglas head to Benfica

And finally, Barcelona are closing in on a deal with Benfica which will see Douglas head to Portugal on loan, according to Sport.

Only a few minor details need to be ironed out apparently, including whether the loan will contain a compulsory option to buy at the end of the season.
