Aleix Vidal will be staying at Barcelona. This is confirmed by the sporting director. But will he play more?
Well, signs point to yes, but Luis Enrique is not letting us see any of his cards.
“We will see if from now on he will play more,” is all the coach really had to say.
But since the sporting director, Robert Fernández, had more encouraging words for the player recently, it may just be Lucho being coy.
Robert said the team was delighted with the way Vidal changed. But see if you can glean much from Lucho’s take:
“He didn't do anything specifically that changed my mind. Simply, there are things in which you can improve. Then, take advantage of your minutes, whether in games or in training. His case is the same as any other player."
