Finally.
After drawing the first leg 1-1 with Hercules in the Copa del Rey Round of 32, Barcelona have finally pulled ahead on aggregate thanks to a Lucas Digne goal. The full back’s first ever goal for the club was a big one as it puts them in good position to advance to the next round in the competition.
The French defender doesn’t score many goals. He only had six in total before this one. It’s good to see him come up big in only his ninth appearance for the club.
Ivan Rakitic added a penalty to give Barcelona a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
