Barcelona vs Al-Ahli, 2016 Qatar Airways Cup: Final Score 5-3 as Barça dominate friendly

Yay! Unnecessary friendly win! Yay!

Barcelona played an unnecessary friendly in Qatar against Al-Ahli just to make their sponsor happy, and beat Al-Ahli 5-3 with goals from Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Neymar, Paco Alcácer and Rafinha Alcântara. The only reason to do this was money and being loyal to the contract, so we can't bother with the performance or amount of goals conceded. The only thing that mattered was not getting injuries, and apart from Barça B's Carles Aleñá, everyone will go back to Catalonia healthy and wealthy.

FIRST HALF

MSN scored inside 15 minutes, and then nothing else happened. Messi, Suárez, Neymar and Piqué played just half an hour, which is smart and necessary with the Catalan Derby taking place on Sunday.

Halftime: 3-0 Barça.

SECOND HALF

One of the Al-Ahli players took a dive inside the box, the refere gave a penalty, and Jordi Masip conceded a Panenka. Just four minutes later, Paco Alcácer headed home a cross from Rakitic to score his first goal for the Blaugrana. Not that this goal counts, but it's still Alcácer's first goal. A lot more goals happened after that, and the second half was very entertaining, finishing with a 5-3 Barça victory.

Goals, win, no injuries, money in the bank. Job done.
