In probably his last game in a Barcelona shirt, Bravo picked up the victory, but was beaten twice and didn’t make a single save. The Chilean wasn’t even as active in the passing game as he usually is, but Bravo will be very fondly remembered in the eyes of Barcelona fans. Very few, if any, will remember the first goal allowed in this one, even if it probably could’ve been saved, or that he had no chance on the second. Bravo, however, will be remembered for all the big saves he made in his Barcelona career.

Dani Alves might be gone, but Roberto gave us probably the best possible Alves impression, picking up not one, but two assists. His passing and link-up in attack was excellent and even though he missed a pass or two in the opposing penalty area that could’ve resulted in more assists it’s hard to find any mistakes in Roberto’s game. That being said, he did react poorly to the cross from the right side that resulted in Betis’ second goal of the match. |

A very quiet game for the Barcelona central defender. He looked calm and collected in defense, which wasn’t always the case when paired with somebody other than Carles Puyol or Javier Mascherano. Pique made a strong sliding tackle in the penalty area midway through the first half to stop a dangerous Betis attack. Had a chance to join the scoring parade midway through the second half, but his header wasn’t accurate enough to threaten Adan. |

In the first action of his La Liga career, Umtiti did not look nervous one bit. He looked extremely calm throughout, whether in defense or with the ball at his feet, which is an excellent sign for the 22-year-old’s future in Catalonia. Umtiti looked dangerous in the opposing area as well on set plays but on a couple of plays it appeared mere inches separated the Frenchman from his first Barcelona goal. All-in-all a very good La Liga debut for Umtiti. |

But after that excellent start Alba started to faded. Still, he remained active the entire time he spent on the pitch, but it appeared the rest given to him in the later stages of the match came at the right time for Alba. |

Matches like this can be tough for a defensive midfielder - even Sergio Busquets. In a match where Barcelona had nearly 75% of possession and nearly half of their passes completed took place in the final third, there really wasn’t much for a defensive midfielder to do. Busquets did win the ball back a few times (one tackle, one interception, three ball recoveries), but not really anything that would impress. Similarly, in a match that was so attack focused, he didn’t really step up into the offensive game the way the pivot for Barcelona typically does. There was enough good to say that Busquets did better than average, but I’m not sure there’s enough good in this game from Busquets to say anything more than that. |

It should be noted that, for me, 5 is considered the average point. Denis didn’t do anything wrong, per say, but he didn’t do a whole lot right. He created just one chance, he won just one tackle, one dribble, and one aerial duel, zero ball recoveries, and he occupied nearly the same exact space Arda Turan occupied. His passing wasn’t great, his general offensive contribution wasn’t great, and even despite his lack on-the-ball results he didn’t do much to create space for others. |

The best player in a game where many of his teammates were also excelling. |

Unstoppable. The Uruguayan started this season like he ended the last, with a hatrick. Europe's best striker, keeps asking UEFA and any other critics, as to how he could possibly be omitted from the top 3 in any individual award. The first was a precise shot from the box, on a cut back from Sergi Roberto. The second a tap in on a counter from Messi and the third a superb curling free kick from the left side. His positioning, movement and work ethic make him an unstoppable force in this form. |

One gets the feeling that, finally, a blanket of understanding has set upon him with regards to the Blaugranas' playing style. As a left winger, in the absence of Neymar, Arda scored a goal and provided one and linked up well with Messi for Barca's 3rd goal. Along with Munir, the debate as to whether Barca really need to buy another forward goes on. |

Just about the only area that can improve upon is the defense where Barcelona allowed two goals from two shots. |
