Paulo Dybala wants to play for Barcelona SO BAD that he's almost asking to be signed

CALM DOWN, KID, CALM DOWN

There's just no stopping a dream when you see it's close to come true.

Paulo Dybala, a talented 21-year-old Argentine goalscorer has had a wonderful breakout season for Palermo in Serie A, enough to get the attention of Europe's finest, including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Barcelona. The Blaugrana's sporting director, Ariedo Braida, has been watching the wonder-kid closely, according to sources, and he is keen to sign the player in the summer of 2016 if Pedro Rodríguez decides to leave by then, and would have Dybala serving as a backup to Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Luis Suárez as he develops with the Catalan club.

Chelsea and PSG were the first to offer anything -- sizable proposals, in fact --, but it is becoming more clear which each interview that Dybala does not think about any other destination other than Catalonia, and coming to Barça would be the ultimate career accomplishment -- especially for the chance to play alongside his idol, fellow Argentine Leo Messi.

"If the president, Maurizio Zamparini, says I have to leave, then I want to enjoy these last few games as a Palermo player, I want to do my best.

"I went to Barcelona to watch the latest Clásico. It’s a city I like a lot, and they play very nice football.

"When I was a child I preferred Barcelona, because they had more Argentines.

"Then, of course, there’s (Lionel) Messi, who is an idol in Argentina."

I mean, can it get more clear that Dybala wants to play for Barça? Despite the great offers from other competitors, the player is willing to wait for the best offer, according to his agent:

"Paris Saint-Germain have already come forward with an offer of about £32.4m and Chelsea had already reached £28.8m.

"We’re now at the stage where the price cannot be lower than €50m [£36m]. Paulo is in no hurry and will take his decision calmly."

The phrase "Paulo is no hurry" is the most interesting. Could that mean Dybala would wait until 2016 to sign for Barça when the ban is lifted?

Only time will tell. His owner needs money right now, his agent wants some too, but Dybala has only one club in mind. Even if he has to wait for it.
