Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are set to be hit with one year transfer bans by FIFA for irregularities in signing youth players, according to widespread reports in Spain. Respected radio show El Larguero says that both Madrid clubs have committed similar offences to those which have seen Barcelona banned from signing any new players until January 2016.

Cadena SER's programme El Larguero and Cadena COPE's El Programa de las 12 both reported last night that Madrid and Atletico Madrid would be subject to the same kind of sanction which has left the Catalans unable to sign players until January 2016, relating to irregularities in the signing of young players.
